Udall board approves 2024–25 negotiated agreement, adds sick-leave bank change

The Udall Unified School District #463 Board of Education on Aug. 12 approved the 2024–25 negotiated agreement, including a modification to the Udall Teachers Association (UTA) sick-leave bank that the board added to the contract language during the meeting.
Board President Chris Holmes presided over the meeting. Andrea Ahlerich moved to approve the negotiated agreement as presented and amended; Adrianne King seconded the motion, which passed unanimously 7–0. Earlier in the meeting the board had voted 7–0 to add the proposed sick bank modification to the negotiated agreement after Scott Eilers made the motion and Clayton Bishop seconded.
The negotiated-agreement vote followed a consent agenda that included routine personnel actions such as resignations and new hires; the consent agenda passed earlier in the meeting. The board also accepted Rochelle Dickson’s resignation as the high school KESA co-chair on a 7–0 vote.
The approval is recorded in the official minutes as a formal board action; the minutes do not include the text of the negotiated agreement or the specific language of the sick-leave bank modification. The board did not record any dissenting votes.
