No ordinance language or effective date was presented during the meeting; the attorney will draft the ordinance for future council consideration.
Separately, the council held multiple executive sessions to discuss employee evaluations and job performance for non‑elected personnel; the motions to convene executive sessions were approved by unanimous vote at several intervals. Because those sessions pertained to personnel matters, the council did not disclose the substance of those executive discussions in open session.
