City Manager Heidi told the council the packet highlights the changes "in green" and said the schedule includes a 2.9% cost-of-living (CPI) increase for a number of user rates for water, sewer and harbor services. She recommended adding a previously used lift-station RV/motor-home dumping fee of $52.50 per occurrence now that new lift-station pumps are operational.
The mayor asked whether the council needed a formal amendment to the fee schedule before passage; Heidi said the council could pass the ordinance with the fee schedule as amended. Council members expressed support for the modest CPI adjustments and the reinsertion of the RV dumping fee, noting the city had removed the charge in prior years while the lift station was out of service.
With no public comment, Council member Keith Lee moved to approve Ordinance 25-12a as amended and Council member Langbark seconded. The council approved the ordinance by a 4-0 vote with one member recorded as absent.
