David City board approves $135,000 purchase of three properties near high school

The David City Board of Education voted to buy three adjacent properties west of the high school for a total purchase price of $135,000 and authorized the district representative to sign all related paperwork on behalf of the district. Staff noted the purchase would expand parking capacity for school activities and that the district would not immediately displace current uses. A motion to approve the purchase and authorize the district representative to sign closing documents passed by voice/roll call vote.
