Student government to press governor for suicide, mental‑health emergency declaration at ASSA

Reese also said the student government is bidding to host the ASSA spring conference for 2026–27 and will present that hosting proposal at the conference. Board members asked how many students would attend the event; students and staff said about 10 people will travel.
