The board conducted its reorganization after adjourning the outgoing 2025–26 board. Wesley Cheddar and Kelsey Bowman were brought forward and administered the oath of office by district staff, formally seating them as board members.
Following the swearing‑in, the board nominated and voted to install Terry Johnson as board president for the 2026–27 year; the nomination was seconded and the motion passed. Chair and board members offered public thanks to Teresa for interim service on the board prior to the new members’ seating.
The reorganization sequence closed and the board proceeded to its regular business, including the budget presentation and subsequent votes.
