Board defers decision on freestanding garage near Millwood; elevations requested

Board members said they needed elevations showing the proposed facade, and they asked the applicant to show how the new garage elevation will relate to the remodeled family room and the rest of the house. "You have to come back with revisions on the garage and the family room," the chair said; the permit cannot be issued until the family room elevations are approved.
The board recommended adding more fenestration and confirmed the garage roof will be low slope to match existing lines. The applicant acknowledged the need to return with updated elevations; the board scheduled a follow‑up hearing for Aug. 5.
