The Cecil Township Planning Commission approved meeting minutes from June 18 and voted to approve two land-use items at its July 16, 2026 meeting.
A motion to approve the June 18 minutes was made and seconded and the commission approved the minutes by voice vote.
The body approved application 2026-0014, a revision to the rank plan of lots number 2, after staff said the plan had been revised and the lone outstanding request was to have the surveyor remove a proposed dwelling from the recorded plan (building location is processed later via building permit). The motion to approve was made, seconded and approved by voice vote; the motion included the requirement that any and all items from Gateway Engineers' June 15, 2026 letter be addressed.
The commission also approved application 2026-0017 (Alto Piano Phase 9, revised lots 9-21 through 9-23), a routine lot-line revision to enable construction of homes. Staff described the plan as in order; a motion to approve was made, seconded and passed by voice vote.
