The West Haven City Council approved resolution 29-2026 to award the 2026 chip-seal maintenance contract to Consolidated Paving & Concrete, which submitted the low bid.
Edward McNeal told the council three bids were received on July 8 and that the lowest, submitted by Consolidated Paving & Concrete, totaled $98,659.44. Staff attached maps showing the locations proposed for treatment and answered council questions about the bid and schedule.
A council member moved to adopt the resolution to award the project; the motion was seconded and carried on roll call. Council members did not amend the scope or funding during the meeting.
