A board member said the town clerk informed them that minutes generally need approval within 30 days under the open meeting law; the board said it would seek confirmation from town counsel about procedures for approving minutes, including whether a separate Zoom public hearing is required when meetings are not held within 30 days.
On the first agenda item Chair noted the Hickory Club had filed for a special permit to operate an indoor athletic or exercise facility but that the planning board had jurisdiction. The board voted to allow the applicant to withdraw its application with prejudice so the planning board can address the matter going forward.
Following those procedural items the board moved on to the public hearing for 8 Honeywell Street (continued to August). The ZBA adjourned at the close of its agenda.
