At its July 16 special meeting the Town of Mount Hope board approved several routine administrative actions: authorizing advertising for a part-time court clerk, authorizing an intermunicipal snow- and ice-control agreement with Walk Hill for the 2026–27 winter season, and approving the prior meeting minutes.
Chair said the town court expects a clerk vacancy in October and requested permission to advertise a 20-hours-per-week opening with a starting wage of $21.10 an hour. The board moved, seconded and approved the motion to advertise the position.
Chair also introduced the annual intermunicipal snow-removal agreement covering specific local roads (Restorative Lane, Casa Davie Court and Mayfield). The board voted to authorize the town supervisor to sign the agreement with Walk Hill for the upcoming season.
The board approved the prior meeting minutes and adjourned the special meeting by voice vote. No additional debate or public comment on these agenda items was recorded.
