At its July 14 meeting the Murrysville Planning Commission recommended that borough council approve multiple subdivision and lot‑line items brought before the commission:
- S226 Dockery Subdivision: Staff described a proposal to split a 22.6‑acre parcel off Peachtree Court into two lots; septic testing was reported approved. The commission found the application straightforward and recommended it to council.
- S326 Jonas Contracting Plan: John Seitner of Laker Engineering presented a minor subdivision to divide a duplex into separate lots; staff had reviewed the submission and reported no outstanding comments. The commission voted to recommend approval to council.
- S426 and S526 lot‑line revisions/consolidations: An engineer explained consolidations and lot‑line revisions involving multiple parcels (Subic, Connors, Dougherty), including a 5.1‑acre conveyance and boundary adjustments to create a larger consolidated parcel; staff reported no outstanding issues and the commission recommended the revisions to council.
Each recommendation was forwarded to council by motion and voice vote. Staff noted that site‑specific permits (septic, building, demolition permits) and final plan details will be reviewed at the council and permitting stages.
