The McCall City Council appointed local artist Randy Resimius to the Public Art Advisory Committee for a three-year term expiring July 2029. Delta James said the public-art committee unanimously recommended Resimius; Randy said he has lived locally for 14 years and expects to contribute input on the town’s visual character as an oil painter.
City clerk Bessie Jo Wagner reviewed the upcoming meeting schedule: a final budget meeting is set for July 23 (packet to be issued Monday), the August 6 meeting is canceled, and public hearings for budget adoption are scheduled for August 13 with August 20 held as a contingency. The clerk also noted an August 13 presentation on a nearshore water-quality study and a potential infrastructure-planning presentation either July 30 or August 13.
The motion to appoint Resimius carried by voice vote; the council thanked him for volunteering.
