The dashboard is intended to increase transparency and shared responsibility across the early‑childhood system, Gardner said, and will be updated quarterly. She noted it is an initial minimum viable product and not comprehensive: the team built the site using adjacent, publicly available data so partners would have a working example before submitting fuller datasets.
Gardner described several features that let partners use dashboard content in their own communications: shareable content‑block links, embedding code for web pages and a full PDF export. She also outlined the process for contributing data: users who click "Collaborate with us" complete a Smartsheet form and KUCPPR staff follow up to map submissions to the strategic plan and decide how to present the information on the dashboard.
On data quality, a participant read a question from Laurie about whether KUCPPR validates partner submissions. Gardner responded that the team is "not trying to be judge or jury or validating the information," and that they will trust system partners while offering follow‑up conversations when concerns arise.
Gardner suggested items such as Head Start annual reports or local small center pilots as examples the dashboard could highlight and offered to provide deeper, hands‑on demos for organizations that want them. The presentation closed with an invitation for partners to use the form to propose data or suggest additional priority areas.
