Sloane Elementary to hold ribbon-cutting Aug. 12 after construction completes

Sloane Elementary will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Aug. 12 after construction finished and the district received the building, officials said.

The announcement follows the formal handover of the building to the district and the issuance of the certificate of occupancy; district staff will handle final preparations before students move in. Organizers encouraged residents to attend the ribbon-cutting event on Aug. 12 and take community tours of the new facility.
