The Woolwich Township Joint Land Use Board on Nov. 7 approved a C1 bulk variance allowing a taller fence at 108 Wexford Drive to address privacy on a corner lot.
Applicant Scott Wardell asked the board for relief after noting the property’s corner-lot status creates two front yards under the zoning code, which he said limited options for a privacy fence. Planner A. Jones told the board he had no professional concerns about the application. The board opened the matter to the public and, hearing no comments, closed the public portion.
Vice Chair Rushton then called for a motion. Member Kauffman moved to approve the variance; Member Trautz seconded. On roll call Kauffman, Matthias, Moorer, Morgan, Morris, Nocentino, Trautz and Rushton voted yes. The variance was approved.
The approval allows the property owner to construct the fence as described in the application; the minutes do not record conditions beyond the variance itself or a separate permitting step.
