Woolwich Committee approves bond releases, maintenance-bond acceptances and consent agenda

At its Sept. 3 meeting the Woolwich Township Committee voted to adopt several administrative resolutions related to bond releases and maintenance-bond acceptance and approved a multi-item consent agenda.
Mayor Matthias moved to untable and adopt R-2024-194, authorizing the release of Performance Bond CM101118 for public facilities and stabilization for Four Seasons Phase III, Section 2B; Deputy Mayor Nocentino asked if the homeowners association had reviewed the item and Matthias said it had. The motion to adopt carried on a 5-0 roll call.
The committee also untabled and adopted R-2024-195, accepting Maintenance Bond #CM101118M for Four Seasons Phase III, Section 2B, which likewise passed 5-0.
The committee approved and adopted a consent agenda covering multiple items (R-2024-219 through R-2024-228). Those items included release and closure of an escrow account (R-2024-219); release of Performance Bond CM101123 Post on behalf of Villages I, Section 4.6 (R-2024-220); reduction of a cash bond for Villages II, Section 1.4 (R-2024-221); release of cash performance surety bond for Villages II, Section 1.1 (R-2024-222); endorsement of a raffle license for the All 22 Kingsway Football Booster Club (R-2024-223); acceptance of maintenance bonds for Villages II and Woolwich Housing Partners LLC (R-2024-224, R-2024-225); an amendment to a tri-partite traffic signal agreement (R-2024-226); authorization of a totally disabled veteran deduction (R-2024-227); and authorization for the tax collector to transfer or refund overpayments of taxes (R-2024-228). The consent agenda was adopted following a motion by Committeeman McGovern and a second by Deputy Mayor Nocentino; the minutes record that all were in favor.
The bills and purchase orders were approved later in the meeting, with recorded abstentions on certain Verizon charges and the contract payment to Doug Horton by some members. The meeting adjourned at 7:32 p.m.
