Logan View board approves 6% property tax request increase, adopts 2025–26 budget

Kris Kremke moved to approve the 6% increase in property tax request authority; Brandon Wobken seconded the motion, which carried with a recorded tally of Yea: 8, Nay: 0, Absent: 1. The board subsequently approved the proposed 2025–26 budget as presented (motion by Carrie Beacom; second by Houston Moseman) with the same tally noted, and also approved a resolution setting the 2025–2026 final tax request (motion by Kris Kremke; second by Scott Wulf), which carried by vote of Yea: 8, Nay: 0, Absent: 1.
The votes taken early in the meeting show one member listed as absent during those motions; later roll-call on adjournment records Dale Mundil voting Yea, indicating Mundil arrived after the earlier votes. The actions taken set the district’s tax request and budget for the 2025–26 fiscal year and will determine the levy the district requests from county authorities.
