The USD 297 Board approved the consent calendar on Nov. 14, which included payment runs and check batches totaling $349,323.08 and a transfer of $44,936 from the General Fund to the Special Education Fund. The payments were recorded as direct deposit slips numbered 1018001–1018077 and BANKWEST checks 17846–17857 totaling $237,207.29 and FNB Bank checks 17848–17902 totaling $112,115.79.
The board also accepted a $1,000 gift from the Cheyenne County Kansas Community Foundation to be used by the St. Francis National Honor Society; the minutes note Morgan Sherlock as the chapter lead for the funds. The consent calendar approval was moved by Dustin Andrist, seconded by J.W. Milliken, and carried.
