The Spring Hill Planning Commission handled multiple routine land-use matters and a procedural calendar update during its Jan. 15, 2026 special meeting.
The commission recommended approval of a conditional use permit and site plan for a Spring Hill Car Wash (CU-25-2). City Planner Ian Trefren presented the staff report; the developer’s representative confirmed the building will be placed on the north side of the site. No public comments were offered on the car-wash application; the commission voted 5-0 to recommend approval with a condition that city staff conduct an annual review and provide a written report to the Planning Commission.
Final-plat FP-25-14 (Avondale Meadows, Third Plat) and preliminary-plat PP-25-8 and final-plat FP-25-15 (both for Ozark Ready-Mix) were presented and recommended for approval; each motion passed by voice vote. The commission approved the meeting agenda at the outset and adjourned at 9:59 p.m. Staff also presented an updated submittal deadline calendar designed to extend review time and improve coordination.
All recommendations from the Planning Commission will be forwarded to the Spring Hill governing body for final action where applicable. The minutes from this special meeting were approved by the Planning Commission on Feb. 5, 2026.
