Spring Hill Cemetery Board elects 2026 officers, approves minutes and treasurer’s report

Joy Rose presented the treasurer’s report. John Nevius moved to accept the report; Susan Crawford seconded and the motion was recorded as passed 5-0.
In old business the board noted that Polly Mahoney is continuing work on a cemetery brochure. The board also said it will solicit bids for dirt to fix driveway edging and for tree removal and trimming, with plans to begin the work in the spring. Larry Sumner said he will obtain bids for tree work and for driveway edging dirt.
The board then held its election of officers for 2026. By motion of Keith Stiles, seconded by John Nevius, the board elected Larry Sumner as president, Susan Crawford as vice president, Joy Rose as treasurer and Christine Hecke as secretary; the motion was recorded as passed 5-0.
The meeting convened at 7:00 p.m. and was adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
