7-12 principal highlights One Act, honor-band picks, eSports qualifier and sets Recognition Day

The principal also reported results from the EHC tournament, saying Wakefield earned two superior ratings. Outstanding crew members named were Shelby English, Oliver Sievers, Natalie Nelson, Ella Hoffart, Naomi Nelson and Bella Ramirez Tello. Outstanding actors listed for the EHC tournament included Jaden Sievers, Nate Johnson, Jazmynn Scott, Mayte Flores Garcia, Sawyer Brudigam and Gracyn Keagle; the principal noted Sawyer Brudigam received Outstanding EHC Supporting Actor recognition.
On extracurricular competition beyond theatre, the principal reported Nate Johnson represented Wakefield at the eSports state event in Fremont on Nov. 21, 2025, finishing with a 1–2 record in Mario Kart and described him as "our first ever qualifier in eSports." The principal also named East Husker All-Conference football selections (Mason Lamprecht, Jacob Borg, Ruben Vega) and honorable-mention volleyball selections (Ashlyn Riewer, Sierra Kaufman).
Music honors announced included University of Nebraska Honor Band selections: Ruby Boeckenhauer (flute), Natalie Zuninga (clarinet), Jazmynn Scott (clarinet) and Nathaniel Johnson (trombone).
