Representatives of the Anaconda School District attended the Feb. 12 Anaconda Deer Lodge County DUI Task Force meeting to acknowledge a task-force purchase of breathalyzers for the district.
Principal Erik Swanson and Dr. Tiffany Rehbein, identified in the minutes as the school district superintendent, thanked the task force. Dr. Rehbein said she "appreciates the donation and support of kids and schools." Student Shaelee Novak was also present.
The item was placed early on the agenda so school guests could leave in a timely manner. Minutes record expressions of gratitude; no additional action or conditions related to the equipment were logged in the meeting notes.
The task force did not record a formal procurement motion in the minutes for this item at the Feb. 12 meeting; staff follow-up on equipment distribution and use was implied by the discussion.
