Resident raises Ridge Breeze stormwater concerns and county dispatch staffing

At the close of the Dec. 8 meeting, resident Mel Pittman addressed the board during public comment, reporting on a tour of Ridge Breeze and describing a possible dam on the north side. Pittman also told the board that county dispatch and jail staff are running short; he raised other county items including an open 4-H director position, care of soldiers' graves, and a scheduled increase in vehicle license fees beginning Jan. 2026. The board recorded Pittman's comments in the minutes but did not take formal action at the meeting.
