Council Member Jessica Fowles moved to appoint Carmen Myers to the Kanawha Library Board; Tim Lodin seconded, and the motion carried. The council also reviewed and approved Resolution 2026-10, which updates the Rules of Procedure governing council business. Council Member Chad Lang moved to enter an audit agreement for fiscal year 2025–26 with Fort & Shlegel; Tim Lodin seconded and the council voted unanimously in favor.
Additional routine items approved during the meeting included payment of $150.00 to artist Emma Faust for seasonal window artwork and minor procurement and inventory approvals recorded in the minutes.
