The Southampton Township Land Development Board on July 17 approved an application permitting construction of an in-ground pool at 14 Burrs Mill Road that requires a variance for impervious surface coverage.
Applicants "Mr. & Mrs. Pullen" were sworn in by Solicitor Lange and presented the proposal. The application sought permission to exceed the township's impervious coverage limit, proposing 15% total impervious area where 10% is permitted under the applicable zoning. Board Planner VanBernum reviewed ERI's review letter while the applicants provided testimony.
The board opened the matter to the public and recorded no public comment. On a motion by Mr. Raftery, seconded by Mr. Murphy, the board voted to approve the application. Members recorded in the minutes as voting in favor were Ms. Conover, Mr. Coyle, Mr. Kavanagh, Chairman Magazzo, Mr. Murphy, Mr. Raftery, Mr. Mattio, Mr. Dehoff and Mr. Kennedy.
The minutes do not list any conditions, mitigation measures or a schedule for construction; any conditions, engineering requirements or permits will be reflected in subsequent board paperwork or administrative filings.
