Southampton Land Development Board memorializes bulk variance, honors long-serving resident and handles routine applications

The Southampton Township Land Development Board on Feb. 5 handled several routine but formal matters, including memorializing a bulk-variance resolution for 46 Constitution Drive, adopting a resolution commemorating Joseph Springer’s public service, carrying an application to the March 5 meeting and recording an application withdrawal.
The board unanimously approved the minutes from the Dec. 4, 2025 meeting. Board Solicitor Mr. Lange reviewed Resolution 2025.28 (46 Constitution Drive, Bulk Variance — Impervious). After a brief public comment period that produced no speakers, Mr. Kavanagh moved to memorialize Resolution 2025.28; Mr. Keebler seconded the motion. The minutes record ayes from Mr. Heston, Mr. Kavanagh, Mr. Keebler, Mr. Magazzo, Mr. Mattio and Mr. Dehoff.
The board was also presented Resolution 2026.06, memorializing and commemorating the public service of Joseph Springer. Mr. Lange reviewed the resolution and Chairman Magazzo moved to memorialize it; Mr. Heston seconded. The minutes record ayes from Mr. Harrison, Mr. Heston, Mr. Kavanagh, Mr. Keebler, Chairman Magazzo, Mr. Mattio and Mr. Dehoff.
Procedurally, an application for 1880 Route 38 (25-602-11) was carried to the board’s March 5, 2026 meeting at 6 p.m. on a motion by Mr. Kavanagh, seconded by Mr. Dehoff; the minutes record seven ayes. Separately, an application for 403 Chairville Road (26-1302102) was withdrawn by the applicant’s attorney and required no board action. The meeting closed with a motion by Mr. Keebler, seconded by Mr. Heston to adjourn; the motion carried.
