Greenberg board honors local leaders, appoints Leslie Davis as planning‑board chair and approves routine contracts and promotions

The board reappointed Leslie Davis to the planning board and designated her as chair for a term to expire Dec. 31, 2028; the motion to appoint and to name the chair passed unanimously. Leslie Davis, who serves as planning‑board chair and leads the town’s sustainability and energy‑efficiency committee, thanked the board and said the appointment would help her continue community outreach and sustainability work.
On the consent and business portion of the meeting, the board approved a series of resolutions including continued retention of outside counsel for village‑incorporation and litigation matters (Cozen O’Connor and others, various authorized totals), tax‑certiorari settlements, budget amendments and capital funding for bridge repair and sidewalk design projects. The board also approved promotional and personnel items in the police department, including promotions to detective and entry‑level hires, and awarded a bid for medical supplies not to exceed the amounts stated in the agenda.
Town members recorded aye votes on the listed resolutions; no contested failures were recorded in the transcript. The board adjourned after completing the agenda.
