Marion County commissioners approve consent agenda, carve out OWEB grant for separate vote

Commissioner Kevin Cameron seconded the amended motion, which carried unanimously (Bethell, Cameron and Chair Colm Willis voting aye).
Major items approved on the consent agenda included:
• An amendment to the contract for services with Kay L. Dieter, M.D., adding $800,000 for a new not-to-exceed total of $1,550,000 to provide medical assessment and supervision for adult mental health clients through May 31, 2028.
• An Engineering and Related Services contract with SnoEngineering, Inc., dba SE Group, utilizing federal funding in the amount of $242,300 for development of a comprehensive Recreation Management Plan for the Little North Fork, Santiam River Corridor through December 30, 2028.
• A Construction Contract with North Santiam Paving Company in the amount of $560,233 (an estimated $502,697 federal and $57,536 county funds) for the North Fork Road Improvements Project through March 31, 2027.
• Approval of a quitclaim deed to CVP – Lancaster T5, LLC to extinguish a Utility/Vision Easement described in county deed records and receipt of a hearings officer decision approving Administrative Review Case #25-049 (Brian and Stephanie Traeger).
The amended consent entry left the OWEB grant to be considered separately under Action, where it was later approved by a 2–1 vote.
