The City of River Bluff Mayor-Commission Board on March 24 unanimously approved a $6,800 estimate to replace a culvert at the intersection of Creekview and River Bluff Road.
The estimate from Temple & Temple covers complete removal of the existing culvert, extraction of roots that have been causing significant blockage, and re-asphalting the work area. Commissioner Tom Sheffer moved to accept the estimate "and complete this project as soon as possible," and Commissioner Lee Stanley seconded. Mayor Bryan Dillon called for a roll-call vote; all five members voted yea.
Board members noted that Temple & Temple historically have come in under estimated project costs and have provided savings to the city on prior work, and members discussed the project scope and expense before voting. The board did not provide a construction schedule at the meeting; staff are expected to coordinate timing with affected property owners and contractors.
