Walton council advances ordinance requiring occupational license accounts and employer withholding

Council member Amy Long moved to approve the first reading; Council member Caleb Flege seconded. The roll call recorded "yes" votes from Dan Martin, Caleb Flege, Matt Brown, Sherry Gaskill, Rose Beach and Amy Long. The ordinance advanced on first reading; further readings or administrative steps would be required for final adoption.
