PZHAC decisions: The board denied PZHAC case #061867 (2195 Calle de Arroyo), an application to allow a storage shed in the Historical Commercial zone. Mayor Pro Tem Adrianna Merrick moved to approve; Trustee Stephanie Johnson-Burick seconded, but the motion failed and the request was denied (vote recorded 0-3).
The board approved PZHAC case #061871 (2280 Calle de Principal), submitted by Basilica de San Albino, to install a garage door next to an existing garage door in the Historical Commercial zone. The motion passed on a roll-call vote recorded as two yes and one no (Mayor Pro Tem Merrick yes; Trustee Johnson-Burick no; Trustee Nevarez yes).

Resolutions and budget items: Trustees approved Resolution 2025-07 (FY2024-25 Holidays) with an amendment requested by Trustee Gerald Nevarez to remove December 23 and December 30, 2024 from the holiday schedule; the amended resolution passed unanimously. The board also unanimously approved Resolution 2025-08 to add and designate a cannabis line item in the budget.
Personnel and appointments: Following a closed session held under NMSA 1978, Section 10-15-1(H)(2), the board announced several personnel actions. The board approved Jacob Atwell for the facility clerk position and approved employment for Christopher Naranjo in the public works department.
