Separately, the consent agenda, approved earlier in the meeting, included approval of an invoice from BMS, LLC to replace a blower in the elementary office for $530 and an invoice from BMS, LLC to replace the compressor on the west gym unit for $3,400. The board also approved a quote from Sandifer Engineering for a fire alarm system upgrade for $12,579.14 as part of the consent items.
Board members also discussed broader HVAC needs across district facilities; no specific HVAC contract was approved in the minutes. The board voted unanimously on the recorded facility expenditures.
The board's approvals fund immediate repairs and upgrades; implementation will proceed under district administration oversight and any vendor requirements.
