"Taking into consideration the Needs Assessments and state assessment data as reviewed at the earlier Board of Education meetings, [we] adopt the budget as presented for the 2025-2026 school year," the motion record states. The motion passed 6-0.
Adrianne King then moved to adopt the LOB resolution authorizing a 32% Local Option Budget for 2025-26; Rebecca Mason seconded. The resolution was approved 6-0.
Board members discussed the budget in the context of previously reviewed assessment data and facility needs; no separate amendments were recorded in the minutes. The board's action finalizes the district's spending plan for the year and sets the locally funded portion of the general fund at the adopted percentage.
