Chair moved that the committee enter executive session and not return to open session, citing Mass. Gen. Laws chapter 30A, §21(a)(3) to discuss strategy related to collective bargaining with the Eastern Educators Association Units A and C, and §21(a)(7) to review executive session minutes dated May 28, 2026 (and June 25 as referenced). The motion was seconded and approved by roll call.
The chair said that discussing bargaining strategy in public would be detrimental to the committee’s bargaining position. The committee recorded roll‑call votes in the affirmative and then adjourned into executive session.
