City Clerk Jessi Dobson administered the oaths. Nominations for mayor included Brian Inwood and Richard L. Jones, Jr.; following the nominations process Commissioner Todd Rowland moved and Commissioner Bob Boltz seconded to appoint Brian Inwood as mayor. The motion carried, 5-0.
Nominations for vice-mayor included Clint Bundy and Todd Rowland. After nominations were closed, Mayor Brian Inwood moved and Commissioner Bob Boltz seconded to appoint Todd Rowland as vice-mayor; the motion carried, 5-0.
The commission also approved the meeting agenda at the start of the session (Rowland moved; Boltz seconded) and adjourned at the meeting's close after a final governing-body comment; both procedural motions carried 5-0.
The actions formalize leadership roles for the commission's work in 2026; the commission's next regular meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. Jan. 20, 2026, due to the Martin Luther King holiday.
