The Sublette Unified School District No. 374 Board of Education approved a series of routine financial and personnel actions during its April 7, 2025 meeting.
The board approved payment of warrants dated March 31, 2025, and interfund transfers moving money from the General Fund into restricted funds: $49,706.38 to At Risk; $8,060.47 to Daycare; $10,984.20 to Bilingual; $1,675.49 to Food Service; $1,934.37 to Vocational; and $175.00 to Professional Development. Shyree Wiswell, a board member, moved to pay the warrants and approve the transfers; Lee Mason, a board member, seconded the motion. The motion carried 5‑0.
The board also adopted a Non‑Resident Student Policy as presented. Lee Mason moved that adoption and Juan Chacon seconded; the board approved the policy by a 5‑0 vote.
On curriculum spending, the board approved purchasing the 2024 edition of the enVision 7–12 math curriculum after hearing that the newer package includes additional components the district’s teachers would use. Ruthie Vaughan, a board member, moved to approve the purchase with the request that implementation occur later in the summer; Lee Mason seconded the motion, which carried 5‑0. Brooke Patterson, MS/HS curriculum director, told the board the cost difference between the current 2018 edition and the 2024 edition is approximately $7,000.
Personnel motions were grouped and approved. The board hired Tiffany Koehn as assistant middle‑school track coach; accepted resignations from Leah Wright (fifth‑grade teacher) and Leigh Bird (middle‑school science); approved hiring Emily Froese as a high‑school library para and Emily Moke and Jeremiah Houdashelt as summer maintenance workers; hired Chelsea Voth as high‑school science teacher and David Vaughn for grades 5–12 band; and approved supplemental contracts as presented. Motions related to personnel were moved and seconded by board members and carried 5‑0.
The meeting concluded after a brief superintendent report and a unanimous motion to adjourn. The board noted minutes are not official until approved at the next regular meeting.
