Board member Lee Mason moved to approve the project and Ruthie Vaughan seconded; the motion passed 6-0.
Board members discussed the longstanding need to improve the auditorium entrance and the give-and-take of timing construction to avoid disrupting classes. No contract amounts were announced in the meeting record.
The Board’s approval authorizes district staff to proceed with the project procurement and scheduling; the district did not vote on a funding reallocation during the meeting.
