Superintendent announced the nomination of Melissa Hink as district occupational therapist, describing her 10 years of experience and a Master of Science in occupational therapy from Husson University and listing a salary of $65,135.15. The board moved and seconded the nomination and approved it unanimously.
The superintendent also nominated Denaej (transcript spells Denaej/Deneja) Wilbur for special education teacher case manager, noting five years of prior experience and a Bachelor of Arts in liberal studies education from the University of Maine at Augusta; the stated salary was $53,082.98. That nomination likewise passed unanimously.
The superintendent announced, for information only, that Britney Harmon would be reassigned from Hammond Academy's 504 coordinator role to serve as a school counselor at George B. Wetherbee School. The board did not take formal action on the reassignment at the meeting.
Board members offered public thanks to outgoing Assistant Superintendent Tina Boone for years of service and noted that monthly financial reporting is paused temporarily while the district completes FY 2026 closeout and pre-audit work.
