Director Shelley Palmer presented the Parks and Facilities Committee recommendation that the District assume maintenance of the Stoneridge subdivision entryways, consistent with previous District practice for other subdivisions. District counsel John Bartram said his office, in coordination with Matt Fuller, had prepared an Agreement Regarding Maintenance and Landscaping of Common Areas with Stoneridge POA.
TexaScapes representative Kyle Fadal recommended rescinding TexaScapes Proposal No. 10730 so staff could prepare a new proposal that incorporated irrigation, and he proposed amending the District's landscape maintenance contract to add Stoneridge common areas to the scope. After discussion, upon motion by Director Harper and second by Director Palmer, the Board voted unanimously to approve the Stoneridge maintenance agreement, rescind TexaScapes Proposal No.10730, and approve the Third Amendment to the Master Landscape Maintenance and Compost Collection Services with TexaScapes.
The amendments will be incorporated into TexaScapes' work and the District will assume routine maintenance responsibilities for the listed common areas under the executed agreement.
