Wells Branch MUD approves multiple change orders and pay applications for water and pond projects
Summary
The Board unanimously approved change orders and contractor pay applications for the Water Valve Repair and Replacement Project, McGinnis/Howard Lane Lift Station, and Mills Pond Regulatory Improvements, including pay applications of $190,097.38, $330,083.20 and $94,321.70 and contract amendments for geotechnical and Consor construction administration services.
Consor engineers updated the Board on active projects and presented several contract actions for approval. For the Water Valve Repair and Replacement Project the Board approved Change Order No. 2 for $12,903 (replacement of a leaking valve and a fire hydrant jumper), Change Order No. 3 for $13,593 (removal and reinstallation of additional concrete pipe), and Contractor’s Pay Application No. 2 for $190,097.38 (work through May).
The Board also approved Contractor’s Pay Application No. 4 for the McGinnis/Howard Lane Lift Station Rehabilitation Project in the amount of $330,083.20 and Contractor’s Application and Certificate for Payment No. 4 for the Mills Pond Regulatory Improvements Project in the amount of $94,321.70. For Mills Pond the Board approved a Balcones Geotechnical amendment for an additional $8,250 for rebar inspection services and a Consor amendment (time and materials, not-to-exceed) for $61,612 to add construction administration for trail and bridge retrofit improvements.
Each of the presented change orders, pay applications and amendments was approved unanimously after Board motion and second.
