The Roberts School District No. 5 Board of Trustees certified the results of the May 6 election and completed its reorganizational business on May 21.
Business Manager/Clerk JaLayne Obert presented the canvass of the May 6 trustee and levy election results. The board approved certification of Debbie Hill as a trustee for a three‑year term and unanimously approved the canvass showing the mill levy was defeated by a vote of 133 against and 97 in favor.
At the reorganizational meeting that followed, Obert administered the oath of office to newly elected trustee Debbie Hill. Trustees then elected Nick Dobbel as chair (motion by Joel Bertolino, seconded by Brad Norman) and Brad Norman as vice chair (motion by Joel Bertolino, seconded by Michael Bissonnette); both motions passed unanimously. The board also appointed JaLayne Obert as District Clerk.
The board adjourned the reorganizational meeting after completing officer elections.
