Ethics committee agrees to introduce bill revising referral language for investigations

Committee members expressed agreement with the approach. Chair Anderson said the subcommittee had completed its work and that Dan Wayne would be contacted to incorporate the revisions. Representatives Alyse Galvin and Kevin McCabe will continue working on the bill to finalize changes, and McCabe will serve as a co‑sponsor. The committee reached consensus that the bill should proceed to introduction without returning to the committee for additional review; Chair Anderson asked that copies be forwarded to Representative Galvin if routed through her office.
