Chair Thomas then "entertained a motion to go into EXECUTIVE SESSION to discuss matters which by law must remain confidential under AS 24.60.160, Uniform Rule 22(b) regarding executive sessions, and Rules of Procedure Section 5," Representative Kevin McCabe moved. There were no objections and the committee moved into executive session. The public transcript does not include the substance of matters discussed while the committee was in executive session.
When the committee returned to public session the record states "there was no further discussion" and that there was no other business. Chair Thomas entertained a motion to adjourn; Representative Alyse Galvin moved to adjourn, there were no objections, and the meeting adjourned at about 2:00 p.m.
