Roberts board hires two assistant girls' basketball coaches; accepts paraprofessional resignation

The board approved both hires; the motion to hire DeVries recorded an abstention by board member Michael Bissonnette, who cited a conflict of interest. The board approved Rio Chadde's hire unanimously.
The board also accepted a letter of resignation from paraprofessional Caitlin Oakland and thanked her for her service. Superintendent Ator asked whether the position should be reposted or filled from the existing pool of applicants. He said one previously interested applicant might serve as a substitute until the vacancy is filled and noted he would consider backdating wages if that substitute were later hired permanently.
