The Skyline Schools board met in a special session on Oct. 2, 2025, beginning at 6:30 a.m. President Rex Robinson called the meeting to order and members approved the agenda after a motion from board member Nicole Curtis and a second from Mark Graber.
Board member Jerry DeWeese moved that the board go into executive session "to discuss negotiations pursuant to the exception for employer-employee negotiations under KOMA," a motion seconded by Nicole Curtis. The motion carried; administrators and the business manager were invited to attend. The board returned to open session at 6:51 a.m.
DeWeese made a second motion, again seconded by Curtis, to resume executive session for the same purpose; the board returned to open session at 7:13 a.m. A third executive-session motion, moved by DeWeese and seconded by Mark Graber, followed; the board returned to open session at 7:35 a.m. A fourth motion to go into executive session — again for employer-employee negotiations under KOMA and moved by DeWeese with a second from Graber — was made and the board returned to regular session at 7:45 a.m.
At the close of the meeting Nicole Curtis moved to adjourn; Mark Graber seconded and the motion carried. The special session adjourned at 7:47 a.m. The minutes record repeated executive sessions for negotiations and note that administrators and the business manager were invited to attend; no public votes on negotiation outcomes or further public actions were recorded in the transcript.
