The Skyline Schools Board of Education met Sept. 8 and approved the district’s 2025–26 budget, set the Local Option Budget (LOB) at 32.3 percent and adopted the Kansas Homeland Security Region E Mitigation Plan, all by motions that were recorded as “motion carried.”
The board opened with a brief budget hearing at 7:15 p.m., during which the 2025–26 budget was reviewed. President Rex Robinson then called the regular meeting to order. During new business, Jerry DeWeese moved to adopt the KS Homeland Security Region E Mitigation Plan; David McComb seconded and the motion carried.
