Troy Recreation Board receives updates on courts, gate repair and shade structure

Jim Horner reported that he repaired a gate and the board noted a court net had been lowered again; that issue was communicated to Mammoth for follow-up. Members also said the shade structure withstood the mild winter and will be taken down in the fall and reinstalled in spring.
Parks staff are planning a grand opening disc golf tournament; the board indicated more information will be provided as plans are finalized. The board also discussed operational items for the courts, including creating rules signage, obtaining 55-gallon trash barrels with tops and issuing a bid request for mowing and trash pickup around the courts.
Board members did not take formal action on the court contract at this meeting beyond the reported scheduling; staff will monitor progress and report back as work is completed.
