The May activity included 13 traffic stops, seven suspicious-activity reports, four "speak with an officer" calls, one theft, two traffic accidents and one arrest, among other calls.
Davis told the council that go-karts have been producing increased traffic in and around Solomon; he said the department will hold a sergeant's meeting on Wednesday to address the situation and will include security planning for the city's July festival and parade.
The sheriff's monthly summary was provided to the council during the June 2 meeting; no enforcement actions or new ordinances were proposed on the record at that time.
