On a separate new-business item, Chad Johnson moved to allow the Todd County Rescue Squad to remove a building from the city’s storage; Zollie Rose seconded the motion. The motion carried with a majority of yeas; minutes record Harry Green and Norma Williams voted opposed and are noted as voting against the action "due to lack of knowledge."
The council later moved into executive session to discuss possible litigation and employee issues and subsequently exited. The minutes do not record further action taken in open session related to the executive session.
